Role and Responsibilities:
As a Project Coordinator at AMI, you will be a pivotal part of a team driving groundbreaking initiatives. With your organizational finesse and multitasking talents, you’ll be contributing directly to the success of projects that redefine industry standards.

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, both internally and externally
  • Answering calls and emails, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with project managers to create project elevations and take-offs
  • Assisting in the procurement process by ordering materials and coordinating delivery schedules
  • Tracking project progress and maintaining documentation to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Assisting with the preparation of project reports, schedules, and documentation
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
  • Liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues
  • Assisting with project budget tracking and maintaining accurate records of project expenses
  • Providing support to project managers in coordinating subcontractors and scheduling staff
  • Identifying and communicating potential risks or issues to project managers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project coordination

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and project management software
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices and terminology is a plus
  • Previous experience in a project coordination or similar role is preferred
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
