Role and Responsibilities:
As a Project Coordinator at AMI, you will be a pivotal part of a team driving groundbreaking initiatives. With your organizational finesse and multitasking talents, you’ll be contributing directly to the success of projects that redefine industry standards.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, both internally and externally
- Answering calls and emails, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders
- Collaborating with project managers to create project elevations and take-offs
- Assisting in the procurement process by ordering materials and coordinating delivery schedules
- Tracking project progress and maintaining documentation to ensure project deadlines are met
- Assisting with the preparation of project reports, schedules, and documentation
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues
- Assisting with project budget tracking and maintaining accurate records of project expenses
- Providing support to project managers in coordinating subcontractors and scheduling staff
- Identifying and communicating potential risks or issues to project managers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project coordination
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and project management software
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and terminology is a plus
- Previous experience in a project coordination or similar role is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
