Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborating with the project team to analyze project requirements and create accurate estimates for doors, frames, and finish hardware projects
- Reviewing project documentation, including drawings and specifications, to determine materials, labor, and other cost factors
- Requesting and analyzing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards
- Preparing detailed cost breakdowns and project proposals for clients
- Maintaining effective communication and follow-ups with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the estimation process
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu a plus
- Knowledge or prior experience in the doors, frames, and hardware industry is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience as an Estimator is preferred, but not required
- Positive attitude, a commitment to delivering excellence, and a willingness to learn and grow
